Established in the fall of 1999 and based in Madison, Wisconsin, A Better Home is a full-service design and remodeling company owned and operated by Jeff Augustine.

Working with his family on their own house in the early ’70s as a child, Jeff had gained experience installing sub-flooring (with grandpa’s help), mixing concrete, and hauling lumber. He put himself through college working for a small Madison remodeling company as a crewman and has been involved with the Madison remodeling industry since 1998. His work has since been featured in Brava Magazine and The Wisconsin State Journal.

Nick Finely

Nick is the young guy on the crew, and you may see him driving our van. He comes with experience in HVAC and installing flooring, but wanted to expand his skills. He’s looking forward to being able to fix his own home someday.

Corey Loring

Corey got his start in construction framing new houses. He was drawn to remodeling for the chance to work on different types of projects and learn new skills. Corey likes to think ahead and solve problems, which may be attributed to his astrological sign: Taurus.
